JNU is India’s premier social sciences university, which focuses on postgraduate study and research. The Centre for European Studies, situated within its world famous School of International Studies, hosts India’s Jean Monnet Chair Prof Rajendra Jain, who has long standing links with many of the partners. It has extensive expertise partnering in EU funded projects in social sciences. It has an excellent library and other facilities for incoming ESRs and wide ranging expertise on India’s global focus and ambitions.
