Prof. Uttara Sahasrabuddhe (University of Mumbai) has launched with the help of her Department at the University of Mumbai, in collaboration with Ramnarain Ruia College and V.G. Vaze College, a research project during May-June 2020. The purpose of this research was to study the governance of the COVID-19 Pandemic around the world. 22 countries were studied, trying to understand how they face the COVID-19 challenge and how some of them overcame those challenges.

The project involved 11 research coordinators who co-ordinated research for two countries each, and 30 Post-graduate/undergraduate students.

Prof. Uttara Sahasrabuddhe is keenly aware of the limitations of this study, particularly because it is completely dependent on sources available on the internet.
